With thanks to everyone who has attended events, volunteered to help, or helped to fund The Children’s Museum (of Somerset County) over the past 20 years, we have made the decision to stop holding programs, as our primary volunteers are getting old and have high COVID risk factors. We have started the process of transferring our physical assets, such as our bubble machine, to a regional children’s museum newcomer: MOMI, the Museum of Makers and Innovators. MOMI is also based in central NJ and has been offering outreach programs in both Somerset and Morris counties. A link to MOMI’s web page is: https://www.thinkmomi.org

MOMI also has a Facebook page - https://www.facebook.com/thinkMOMI

We’ve really enjoyed our tenure serving children and families and wish you the best in discovering the many additional hands-on interactive venues for your children and family. Please support MOMI as they continue to offer these opportunities locally. Thanks again!

The Children's Museum was incorporated as a non-profit corporation in November, 1996 with the goal of improving the quality of life for children and their families through the creation and operation of a children's museum in Somerset County. Through educational exhibits and programs, we hope to inspire every child's natural curiosity and creativity, and to nurture a love of learning. We also hope to showcase the talents of young adults in our county. You are looking at one example of this right now! This web page was initially created by Todd Ogin and Graeme Blair, students in Montgomery Middle School. If you would like to contact us for more information, please call us at 908-725-4677 or e-mail us at somersetcminfo@gmail.com.
